About me

Before I studied engineering, I spent my afternoons at a local airport learning to fly. Flight training turned my interest in aircraft into questions about their performance and design, and those questions led me to aerospace.

I’m now an aerospace engineering student at UCLA. I like working through things I don’t understand yet, whether by researching an unfamiliar concept or writing a program to explore it. At Las Positas College, my honors work included writing a C++ program that estimates takeoff performance for Boeing airliners and studying methods for predicting satellite orbits.

I’m currently building FERB-1, my first model rocket, to compare real flight data with simulation results. I also enjoy sharing what I learn. At a physics outreach event aboard the USS Hornet, I demonstrated gravity using stretched fabric, steel balls, and marbles.

Open to aerospace engineering opportunities for Summer 2027.

Skills: OpenRocket, Fusion 360 (CAD), 3D printing (FDM), Excel, LaTeX, and C++ and MATLAB from coursework.
